1968 title card

Depatie/Freeling return again with a fun sequence introducing Alan Arkin to the role of Inspector Clouseau. The depiction of the Inspector from the popular series of animated shorts involving that character was chosen for this piece as well, most likely due to it's familiarity with audiences.

Second 1964 title card

Another fantastic title card for the Main Titles of the second Clouseau film, the second of two in one year, 1964, "A Shot in the Dark". Also by DePatie/Freling, this sequence wonderfully unfolds another zany adventure with the Inspector.

1964 title card

Main Title card for the first Clouseau film, "The Pink Panther" released in 1964.
The creative team of animators DePatie/Freling give us an amazing title sequence for this film. It sets the tone for the picture and in it's own right became a "spin off" franchise; The Pink Panther character and series of short animated films as well as the iconic theme tune by the masterful Henry Mancini.
